M.A.C Fall Lippies

Unfortunately, not all lip trends are work appropriate. As much as I would love to sport a deep vampy lip, the traditional 9-5 may not be as accepting.  With fall full swing ahead, I’ve embraced the variations of nudes that are work appropriate.  My favorite of all, are my M.A.C Fall Lippies.

Pink Plaid

A muted dusty rose, blue toned, pink matte lipstick that with a sheen finish.

It has the traditional M.A.C vanilla scent, is very opaque and highly pigmented.  Although matte, it is very comfortable on the lips.

Viva Glam II

This is a warm toned, brown with pink undertones.  This Creme Sheen  is both very moisturizing and shiny but not glittery.

The iridescent appears frosty in some angles.  It is highly pigmented and very opaque.

Kinda Sexy

This applies on very creamy for a matte lipstick.

After some time this does feel dry on one’s lips but can quickly be fixed with a balm.

The color is a warm toned, salmon pink, almost like a burnt sienna but not as deep.

It is highly pigmented and very opaque.  A great dupe is Wet n Wild (902c).

I love how versatile lip pencils can be, not only are they great for outlining and defining one’s lips, they are also perfect for laying on top of  lipsticks to create new hues.
