Earlier this year I attended GenBeauty and had the pleasure of being introduce to the upscale SoCal brand by the name of Jouer Cosmetics. At the event, we were given two full size samples of the Jouer Hydrating Lipsticks. Each tube contains 0.12 oz/3.5 g and retails for $24.00. The packaging is effortlessly sophisticated and by no means feels inexpensive. 
Within the collection, there’s a shade for everyone’s preference as there are 20 beautiful shades in the pinks, corals and reds. Above is pictured, Lana a creamy berry red and Sarah a Rich cranberry red.
The hydrating lipsticks are true to their name because they have a creamy, opaque finish that feels buttery on the lips. For a precise application I would recommend using a lip liner or lipstick brush. This is an ideal lipstick if you are looking for a traditional, classic lippie. I love that it does not have an overpowering or chemical scent. The lush formula not only performs beautifully, but also has wonderful moisturizing properties from the Brazilian Cupuacu Butter.
Overall, I would say these two shades are prefect hues for a California Fall because they are rich and bold enough to offset a neutral eye look. I love wearing Sarah on days where I only wear mascara. There’s beauty in the ability a lipstick has in dressing up any makeup look.
