Josie Maran: Whipped Argan Oil Ultra-hydrating body butter

When one thinks of Josie Maran’s Whipped Argan Oil body butter one can only envision a “natural” luxury product  at its finest.

Opposed to other luxury products, it is quite admirable that they do not use fancy over the top packaging.

The sweet citrus scent is not overpowering but memorable.  It triggers something within that makes you question inner memory while trying to figure out what “it” actually smells like.

Upon applying, my skin smelled amazing and felt somewhat greasy, for lack of a better term- similar to using a dry oil.

When I say greasy, please do not imagine greasy hands trying to open a jar.  This does moisturize your skin ladies.

At 8 oz. this hefty price tag left me wanting more. (This is me complaining about the product with the 20% discount).

I personally cannot justify body lotion at such a high price.  I found because the body butter was so expensive (very subjective) I could not bare to use daily.  If I entered a higher tax bracket my mentality would change 100%.  So my criticism therefore, is not on the product, but rather my lack of ability to afford such an item that would need constant restocking.

As for now, I may treat myself to the occasional jar, and use on special occasions.
