Game of Thrones warned me for the passed 6 seasons that Winter was coming. Winter came and I was unprepared. Winter 2016 was brutal. It left my skin, dry, textured, dull and dehydrated. I’d love to sit here and complain the weather was the root of all evil; it wasn’t. As I approach thirty, waking up with glowing radiant skin after sleeping for only two hours is no longer plausible. I would love to remain in a state of denial and continue such habits. But for my skin’s sake, the coming of a new decade requires adjustments to my skin care regime. But let’s be realistic, some things no matter how much effort will never change, exhibit A – my sleeping habits.

The Confidence in an Eye Cream retails for $38.00, contains 0.5 fl oz of product, and will be available at Ulta (here) and Sephora. Speaking of mere basics, the packaging is adorable. Who couldn’t resist a mini me version of the Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer. What it lacks in size, the Confidence in an Eye Cream makes up in ingredients. A notable difference between the two is that the Eye Cream is scentless.
The thick, hydrating moisturizer quickly absorbs into your skin without leaving behind a greasy or oily film. What’s more remarkable is the light pink apricot tint helps color correct dark under eye circles. I think the tinted formula would only work for those with light to fair skin tones. Deeper skin tones would need a deeper, peach tint to visibly see results.
Although I did receive this as PR, I quickly incorporating the IT Cosmetics Confidence In An Eye Cream into my skin care’s AM and PM routine. The Confidence in an Eye Cream is everything the Bye Bye Under Eye Cream lacked. So although I might not have all the answers needed to solve my skin’s current state, the IT Cosmetics Confidence In An Eye Cream is definitely a step in the right direction since it hydrates, nourishes and restores.
