In the past year, It Cosmetics has launched several items, but none have caught my attention as quickly and as hard as the new “Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Wipes”. As with most people applying makeup is fun; aka the best part of the process. Cleaning up or shall I say removing makeup, not as much. I’m guilty of going to bed with a full face. Maybe even tried to pass a stale face as fresh bread a few times. Guilt aside, the Irony is I know better. Trust me I know better. But it has been a long journey finding the right makeup remover that not only is quick, easy, economical, effective and not to mention smell good without leaving an unwanted residue. What can I say, over the years I’ve developed high standards for Makeup Removers.
Over time, I’ve learned to develop a few favorites. For example, when it comes to removing heavy duty stage makeup my go to products are: It Cosmetic’s Melting Balm Makeup Remover along with the Makeup Eraser. If I’m trying to remove water proof mascara, you bet I’m using MAC’s “Gently Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover”. Regardless, I always double cleanse. The goal is to avoid having your pores clogged with unwanted foundation or primer. My transparency ends there. Don’t ask me what I use to remove my every day makeup since it can range from just about anything. What can I say, I haven’t found what I’m looking for. It took only one “Bye Bye 3-in-1 Makeup Wipe” to remove all of my Face Makeup, Eye Makeup and Lipstick. It didn’t leave a sticky residue and I do agree your skin does feel hydrated. I appreciate the size of the wipe and that its fragrance free. The one thing I hate more than a wipe not working is a wipe that stings or tastes bad because of the fragrance.
Knowing that I’m more inclined to remove my makeup if the product requires minimal time and effort I can see this becoming a staple in my beauty routine. That sounds lazy, but it’s true and that’s okay. I’d prefer owning up to my laziness if it means it’s lead me to cleaner skin.
