Wet n Wild has been on a roll. With my love for their recent launch of Hollywood Boulevard, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard their Spring 2015 line included such great items.
Let me introduce you to the coveted Silverlake Blush and Glow Collection. The collection includes: Fair Trade Coffee, Sunset Junction and Solar Powered.
With all the hype surrounding this line, I was only able to grab Solar Powered at my local Rite Aid. The Blush and Glow Trio’s retail for the modest price of $3.99.
Wet n Wild did a great job catering to every skin tone. If you are light and fair skin tone like myself, I would recommend choosing a different pan seeing as Solar Powered is a beautiful pan for deeper warmer skin tones.
Each pan includes a blush, bronzer and highlighter.
As with Hollywood Boulevard, the pigmentation of this trio is fabulous with each swatch appearing perfectly pigmented without being chalky or powdery. Aside from the obvious fact that the color scheme is darker, you can visibly see the only con I have towards this product. Although these coppery tones are beautiful with their shimmery and vibrant color payoff, they fail in the blending department.
Cons aside, for the $3.99 price this is a wonderful spring pick me up if you would like to try warm toned, shimmery bronzers without the hefty cost.
