Eye Kandy Cosmetics

While at IMATs, I had the pleasure of being introduced to brands typically not found at Sephora or Ulta.  By introduced I mean my tush walked up to every booth imaginable to see what is out there in the makeup world.

Upon the chaos was Eye Kandy Cosmetics (Kandy spelled with a K).

With all the booths and distractions out there, Eye Kandy Cosmetics  was mesmerizing. A table with a rainbow od glitters was much too difficult to resist. What first began as excitement towards the visual eye candy, soon turned into a far greater amazement and admiration towards the brand.

Gitter love is complicated.  As with most relationships, it’s both beautiful and messy.                                                                        Eye Kandy Cosmetics literally erases the messy aspects of glitter leaving you only with anything less than A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

The Kit I purchased is called the Eye Kandy Kandy Bag.  (Convention price = $20.00)

The kit came with 1.0 oz of their Liquid Sugar Base, a synthetic applicator brush, and 1 glitter.  I also purchased two additional glitter sprinkles for $5.00 ea.

Everything came in this adorable bag, which can be used to store the entire kit.

Each container has 3 oz of glitter.

TIP:  Each little container comes with a small sticker placed on the side as a seal.  This is the only place where you can find the glitter’s name.  Therefore, I suggest you remove the sticker and place it on the bottom of the container.  That way you don’t have to worry about forgetting what each glitter is called.

The colors I chose were: Rasberry Blast, Tootie Fruitie and Candy Corn

The glitters are easy to use.  Simply pour a small amount of Liquid Sugar on a plastic surface.  I used the cap.

Then pour some glitter onto a plastic surface.  Again, I just used it straight from the pot.

You can use any synthetic brush to apply the glitter.

The glitters below do not have any base, primer or eyeshadow underneath.  They are 100% glitter and Liquid Sugar.

Just look at how opaque and shiny!

From Top to Bottom: Tootie Fruitie, Candy Corn and Rasberry Blast

A few recommendations:

For darker glitters, use a dark eyeliner as a base so you use less glitter.

If the glitter bunches up, apply more liquid sugar.

Overall, these glitters are amazing because there is very minimal fall out; something that cannot be                    said about other glitters.  The magic is in the Liquid Sugar.

If you are a person who loves to use glitter, this is definitely a must have!
